Known for making the masses move, from Manhattan to Milàn. From clubs to concerts, he has dominated dance-floors in over 25 countries.
An iconoclast of the club scene, he’s well known for pushing the musical boundaries of Dance music.
Garrett Brown first gained local notoriety by racking up sought-after residencies at some of New York’s hottest nightclubs, including the Marquee and Bungalow 8. Along the way, he also shared the spotlight with some of the worlds most respected DJs, Producers and Artists, including Diplo, A-Trak and Steve Aoki. “G. Brown is somewhat of a rarity in the scene these days, a DJ who cares as much about skills as he does selection. He also hustles his ass off, which doesn’t hurt either” says friend and Grammy Award-winning Producer /DJ Mark Ronson.
His unique style & musical taste, along with an uncanny ability to read a crowd, has lead people from all over the world to call on him on him. MTV requested his talents for a series of events in Johannesburg, South Africa. Dolce & Gabbana hand-picked him to DJ numerous events, including their Fashion Week events in Milan. Emporio Armani even recruited him for their season launch in Hong Kong. “It’s about connecting with the audience and elevating the energy of the people. This is what motivates me in everything I do”
This same motivation also manifests itself in his music. G. Brown has earned respect for his remixes of seminal artists like Adele, Beyonce, Gnarls Barkley and many others. He’s currently focused on releasing his own original material. His first single “L.O.V.I.N.”, released on the UK-based Nod Factor label, is currently burning up the Beatport Charts across Europe.
